Elder Curtis Way Henderson
Curtis Henderson born and raised in Pelham, NC. Attended church as a child at Red Hill Baptist Church where I received early word of knowledge. Most of my training came from the Godly teaching of my mother Glossy Bell Henderson. As a teenager I moved to Danville, VA where I attended Tunstall High School where I also met my wife Faye. We have been married 30 years and have one daughter Shannon Henderson.
In 1995 I gave my life to the Lord and joined Bible Way Temple of Christ in Elizabeth City, NC. In 1996 I became a deacon and I served in many other areas in the church. Helping in any way I could to please God. In 2001 I was ordained as a minister while under Elder Joyce Williams at Emmanuel United Fellowship. In 2001 still on my journey with the Lord my family and I moved to Goldsboro, NC where I attended Breakout Ministries under a great man of God. While in Goldsboro I continued preaching and serving the Lord. Finally I ended up in Greensboro, NC where I am attending New Life Ministries being equipped in the word of God.
Favorite Scripture: Psalm 27: 13-14 “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” This scripture has helped me balance my walk of faith. To believe and trust in God at a level to process me and prepare me to be about my Father’s business, to press forward to accomplish his purpose in my life.
